Building Sanctuary Toolkit: Launch Event

Join us for a toolkit launch:Â Building Sanctuary: Stories of Organizing for Safety in Our Schools and Communities.Â
The toolkit was a collaboration between Teachers Unite and Ujju Aggarwal’s spring 2026 class, Spaces of Struggle: Social Reproduction and the Politics of Care at The New School (with support from the Mellon Periclean Faculty Leadership Course Grant and Lang’s Civic Liberal Arts Grant).Â
The launch will include food and an interactive training on the toolkit to bring to your school, organization, or community.Â
This event is free and open to the public. It is organized by BPATS, Teachers Unite, and cosponsored by the Center for Place, Culture, and Politics.
