Patricia Cipollitti Rodríguez
Patricia Cipollitti Rodríguez is a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the CUNY Graduate Center, where she works on topics in critical social theory. Her research seeks to understand capitalism as a global social order and form of life especially in light of capital’s relationship to colonial/modern forms of power. This inquiry is motivated by a political commitment to radical social transformation and a specific interest in prefigurative strategies as pursued by solidarity economy movements across the Americas. Patricia has a background in community and labor organizing and is a strike-ready member of her union, PSC-CUNY. She holds a BPhil master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Oxford and a B.S. in International Political Economy and Philosophy from Georgetown University. In 2025, she was a visiting scholar in the Cultural Studies program at the University of Carabobo, Venezuela.
