looks great! thanks for organizing this!
This one’s right up my alley, except that it’s just TOO LONG!!! High hopes for joining next year’s conference!
India still has this caste system, even if shunned officially I’ve been told families still observe it, e.g. in the choice of partners for their children for (arranged) marriage etc. But i wonder where queers and transgender people fit into this? Typically in stratified societies those on the lowest rung tend to look for someone to look down to too and often find it in whoever is deviant (and the deviance is being accepted as “bad” by the higher echelons of the same society).
Hi! I’m from El Salvador and I’m interested in having access to the lectures given at this conference. Is there a link to a video that recorded the activities from both days, or anything else I could get access to?
Thank you so much for any help!
Looking forward to future events!
I am from Bosnia but would really want to watch the talks from this conference. Did you perhaps recored it? If yes, can you pleae share where I can watch it since the youtube link on website does not work….
Thanks a lot!
What about a resource-based economy?
How can you register for the conference? What is the cost?
Hi. Is the event on May 23/24 public, or should we RSVP? Is it first-come first-serve?
do i need to register for this event?
Thanks for keeping me posted and hope to attend meetings and most of all participate in BDS against apartheid.
I am a retired attorney in Florida. Born in India much before Mishra was born. I m fascinated by the book Mishra wrote: Ruins of the Empire. I am really impressed with the research and scholarship. I wish to have a personal contact with Mishra and enjoy exchanging some of my thoughts, if possible. I want to know his telephone number and email to communicate with him’
Will there be streaming for this event?

Hallo – ich war am Wochenende auf dem X- Art festival – dort lief der Film ” Von Bärten und anderen begehrlichkeiten” den ich mit gamcht habe. Ich habe da auch dein Video “the decadence of your starvation gesehen” und fands super toll.

Capitslism is everywhere. You only have to spend a few days in Cuba to see how it emerges in every corner, almost as part of a human nature desire to trade and improve chances in life. It is naive to talk about precapitalist societies in most countries and hence the imperialist discourse based con World powers is outdated. A different thing are multinacional companies but thats more to do with globalization and neoliberalism
